What we do

Our goal is for every individual, regardless of their location, to have
the opportunity to receive timely and accurate infectious disease diagnosis and management.

We support rural and remote primary care providers in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in offering and sustaining
the delivery of effective diagnostics at the point of care.

Our quality framework includes cultural governance and leadership, clinical governance, training and competency, quality systems, data management and logistics.

We work in partnership with health services and stakeholders
across Australia.

The First Nations Molecular Point-of-Care Testing Program acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of the lands on which we live and work, as well as the Health Services and Communities we work closely with. We recognise their deep and continuing connection to land and sea, and pay respect to Elders past and present.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this website may contain images, voices and names of deceased persons.
